With all my 3D work, it feels like ages since I last did a full illustration. This was mostly to experiment with rendering a low-light interior, so it's still rough, but I may revisit it with some color sometime.

The initial designs for Braddock and his varying seasonal appearances. He is a member of a race of elf-like people with a close symbiotic relationship with nature. When seasons change, so does he, for better or for worse.

Taking the time to keep sharp with live figure studies is vital, and one of my favorite opportunities to step away from the computer and dig back into my traditional roots.
Before making Beanquest, I took a class in 2D animation with the amazing Raul Aguirre Jr. and had the opportunity to really have some fun creating and hand animating some fun characters. A lot of love went into this, and I'd like to return to it someday!
